“Have you ever left a restaurant in a rush to catch your bus?” That was the question I posed my mother when she announced we were going out to dinner that Thursday night. She had already dined at Jean-Georges and another place was not an option. As much as she would like to go somewhere new, she could not afford to dawdle. My father works nights and he is very tired after a long day. The least we could do was plan a quick bite before he left for work. It's actually one of my favorite things about being a mom — No matter how busy I am, there is always time for dinner with the fam! Plus, it's such a great excuse to venture out of my comfort zone and try something new! Eating out can be expensive but it doesn't have to be! 

You are a waitress in a small, local diner. The The Waitress is strict and expects great performance from you, but you love what you do. You know that the right person will belogin with your menu, and it would be them.
